Obtaining a PO number at CCF using the Lawson System
for the purpose of engaging SIRC services.
In order to get a PO number for service, you will need to enter the repair into the CCF Lawson ordering system. For a repair, you can put the word repair for the item or catalog number, and the word equipment for the description,
then enter the CWRU Scientific Instrument Repair Center in the comments section, choose amount service, 1 EA for the quantity, (minimum PO amount)* $900.00 for the amount, and #1512 (Case Western
Reserve University) as the vendor. By the next business day, the PO number will be assigned. If you note the Lawson requisition number, you can look up the PO number yourself in Lawson by doing a
requisition inquiry and entering the number. Your buyer can also tell you what the PO number is if you give her/him the Lawson req. number. Following PO number assignment, please email me the PO number and enter it into the SIRC online form in the section where it asks for a PO number. It is
highly preferred that checks be made out to Scientific Instrument Repair Center and not to Case Western Reserve University or CWRU.
*Note on minimum PO amounts: charges are for actual time and any unused portion of the PO is reclaimed by the issuing department after the invoice is paid.
